Hello parents and students. Welcome to the 2024/2025 school year.

My name is Edward Van Embden and I'm a Culinary Arts Instructor here at Cedar Creek High School. I'll be teaching sections of the Art of Cooking, Creative Cuisine and Honors Culinary, which are comprised of first, second, and third year culinary students, this year.

Regardless of your child's skill level in the kitchen, our goals remain the same: develop cooking ability, learn about cultures through food, practice essential life and job skills, and grow together. As a group we'll take a culinary journey in the classroom and online with the goal of answering the fundamental question of "What is food?"
