This week in Mr. Lewis and Mrs. Kadetsky’s Algebra 2 classes, math quite literally took flight! Students explored the world of projectile motion, using real-life examples to bring quadratic functions to life. From footballs arcing across a field to objects soaring through the air with perfect parabolic paths, each project highlighted not only strong mathematical understanding but also creativity and curiosity. It was a great opportunity for students to see how algebra connects to the real world—while having fun watching their equations come alive!
