The Absegami Marching Band was named the USBands New Jersey State Champions in Group 2 Open! In addition to receiving the highest score, they were also awarded Best Music. The band has had an undefeated season over the course of the past 8 weeks and will head to MetLife Stadium this Saturday to compete against groups from across the east coast. Great job Braves!

Absegami visual arts students took a trip with Ms. McKeefery, Mrs. Keeley, and Ms. Ortiz to the Philadelphia Museum of Art on October 27th. They got a guided tour of Asian, European, and Modern Art exhibits then had the opportunity to explore the museum and the other exhibits they had to offer. Thank you PMA for a wonderful day!

On Tuesday, October 21st, Absegami's Student Council held our annual Leadership Conference. Students from Arthur Rann, Roland Rogers, Smithville, and Reeds Road Elementary Schools and Galloway Township Middle School attended, along with their advisors. The elementary and middle school students joined with our Absegami Student Council members to participate in activities focusing on leadership, school spirit, and community service.
